The average influencer brief is a Google Doc no one reads. The good ones are a single page a creator can scan in 90 seconds and shoot from without ever pinging you.
The one-page brief
- Product in one line. What it is. Not the pitch deck.
- Who it's for, in one line. Named. Specific.
- Three must-say points. Not five. Not ten.
- Three do-not-says. Legal, positioning, competitor names.
- One hook example. A model, not a script.
- Deliverables + due dates. With the approval window.
What kills the collab
Line-by-line scripting. Late approvals. Silent slack channels. Post-hoc "can you re-edit?" requests. Fix these four and your creator NPS jumps in a quarter.
Operating note
Pay on delivery. Pay in full. Every stalled collab we've inherited had payment terms buried three docs deep.
